A Roman Cheese Cake

This cheese cake in Rome is called Cassola. A popular Christmas-time desert. It’s roots are in Rome’s ancient Jewish community. The ricotta cheese makes it lighter than a cheese cake made with cream cheese. Topped with a blueberry sauce.
